Answers to the questions we hear most often
Not at all. The studio welcomes complete beginners through to experienced potters. If you have no prior experience, we recommend coming along to a beginner class first.
Yes. Visitors aged 18 and over are welcome to come along on a day pass — $7 as an intro offer (maximum 3 visits), payable on the day.
When available, our beginner pottery classes generally run on 3 consecutive Saturdays, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, by online booking only. They’re $90 per person, with clay, tools and firing all included.
Register your interest by emailing baypotter4@gmail.com. Wheel throwing runs in small groups (maximum 2 people) at $30 per person.
Annual membership is $50 per year (due in February), or $30 for members joining after July. Members pay a discounted day fee of $5 and enjoy full access to the studio and community. See the Membership page for full details.

Firing is charged per kilogram: $4.00/kg for bisque and $5.00/kg for glaze.
Yes. Members can purchase clay from the Club whenever stock is available — just record your purchase in the attendance & clay book and settle up at the end of the month.
